Welcome to SocialCal!
This guide will help you find your way around the dashboard and get started with scheduling your social media posts.
Dashboard Navigation
Your SocialCal dashboard has a sidebar menu on the left side. Here's where to find everything:
Main Sections
| Menu Item | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Your home screen with overview stats and quick actions |
| Create New Post | Write and publish or schedule new content |
| Schedule | Calendar view plus your scheduled, recurring, and queued posts |
| Content | Drafts, templates, media library, and published content |
| Analytics | View performance metrics for all your platforms |
| Listening | Monitor mentions and conversations across platforms |
| Settings | Connect accounts, manage billing, and configure preferences |
Schedule Submenu
Click Schedule in the sidebar to access:
- Calendar View - Visual calendar of all your scheduled posts
- Scheduled - View and manage upcoming posts
- Recurring - Manage repeating post series
- Queue - Drip-feed posts into your posting schedule
Content Submenu
Click Content in the sidebar to access:
- Drafts - Access saved drafts to finish later
- Templates - Save and reuse your best-performing posts (built from the composer)
- Media Library - Browse and manage your uploaded images and videos
- Published - See your published content history
Settings Submenu
Click Settings in the sidebar to access:
- Social Accounts - Connect and manage your social media platforms
- Billing - View your plan, usage, and payment history
- Account - Update your profile and preferences
Quick Start Guide
- Connect your accounts - Go to Settings > Social Accounts
- Create your first post - Click Create New Post in the sidebar
- Publish or schedule - Use the publishing panel to publish now or schedule for later
- Track performance - Check Analytics to see how your posts perform
