X / Twitter Line Break Generator
Add real paragraph breaks to long X posts and threads. Use invisible Braille characters to keep your blank lines from being collapsed.

Type a multi-line caption above and the formatted output will appear here. How X line breaks work (and why threads need them most)
X allows multi-line tweets but collapses sequential blank lines. For threads with structure (numbered lists, sub-points), the Braille blank trick keeps your formatting intact:
The Braille Pattern Blank (⠀)
Same approach as the other platforms — paste an invisible char on each "blank" line and X preserves it.
Per-tweet character cost
Each Braille char counts as 1 character against your 280-char limit. Use sparingly in normal tweets; budget for it in threads where readability matters.
Renders the same on web + iOS + Android
No surprise platform-specific stripping. The Braille char survives the API roundtrip on all clients.
When line breaks transform a tweet
Two patterns that pay off:
Numbered "1/, 2/, 3/" mini-lists in a single tweet
Numbered points without spacing read as a paragraph; with blank lines, they read as a list. Big difference for engagement on tactical/educational tweets.
Quote → blank line → response posts
For "Someone said X. My response: Y" tweets, the blank line between quote and response makes the structure obvious at a glance.
X line-break gotchas
One issue:
Character cost adds up in threads
A 10-tweet thread with one Braille blank per tweet costs 10 characters across the thread. Not much per tweet, but plan for it when you're writing tight.
