How to Connect TikTok

Prerequisites

To connect TikTok, you need:

• A TikTok account (personal or business)
• The TikTok app installed on your phone (for verification)

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to Settings in your SocialCal dashboard
2. Click on the Social Accounts tab
3. Find TikTok and click Connect
4. You'll be redirected to TikTok to authorize
5. Log in to your TikTok account
6. Grant the requested permissions
7. You'll be redirected back to SocialCal

Important Notes

Video Requirements

• Format: MP4, WebM
• Duration: 3 seconds to 10 minutes
• Size: Up to 500MB
• Aspect Ratio: 9:16 (vertical) recommended

Posting Limitations

• TikTok only supports video content (no images)
• Videos are uploaded as "direct post" to your profile
• Captions support hashtags and mentions

Troubleshooting

"Authorization failed"

• Try clearing your browser cookies and reconnecting
• Make sure you're logged into the correct TikTok account

Video upload failed

• Check that your video meets the format requirements
• Ensure the video file isn't corrupted
