LinkedIn QR Code Generator

Put your LinkedIn on a badge, a slide, or a storefront

LinkedIn has an in-app profile QR, but it is locked to mobile and offers no customization. This generator builds a branded, print-ready QR for any LinkedIn URL — profiles, company pages, showcase pages, newsletters, events.

Enter your LinkedIn profile slug (the part after /in/) or paste any full linkedin.com URL — profile, /company/, /showcase/, /newsletters/, or /events/.

Encoding: https://www.linkedin.com/in/socialcal

Error correction is automatically raised to High so the code stays scannable with a logo overlay.

Runs in your browser No signup or watermark Unlimited codes PNG, SVG & JPG export

LinkedIn does ship an in-app QR code — it is just that the in-app version is limited to your personal profile, cannot be customized, and requires the LinkedIn scanner. This generator builds a QR for any LinkedIn URL: personal profiles, company pages, showcase pages, newsletters, and event pages. You can color it in your brand palette, drop the LinkedIn glyph in the center, and export print-ready PNG or SVG.

LinkedIn has its own QR feature — when should you use this instead?

LinkedIn has a built-in QR in the mobile app (Search bar → QR icon), but it only covers your personal profile, it only works with the LinkedIn camera, and it cannot be branded or exported at print resolution. For event badges, slide decks, or any physical collateral, a proper URL QR is the practical answer.

LinkedIn URL formats you can encode

LinkedIn has more valid URL shapes than any other social platform — profiles, company pages, newsletters, events, jobs, articles, and specific posts all live under different paths. The in-app QR feature only covers the first one. This tool covers all of them.

TypeURL patternBest for
Personal profilelinkedin.com/in/{vanity_id}Event badges, speaker slides, individual business cards. Find your vanity ID in Settings → Edit public profile & URL.
Company pagelinkedin.com/company/{slug}Trade show booths, recruitment flyers, office signage. Better than a personal QR when the connection is company-to-company.
Showcase pagelinkedin.com/showcase/{slug}Sub-brands or product lines under a parent company. Good for partner marketing collateral where the showcase matters more than the parent.
Newsletterlinkedin.com/newsletters/{slug}-{id}Podcast show notes, conference handouts, email signatures — opens straight to the subscribe CTA.
Eventlinkedin.com/events/{event_id}Webinar flyers, conference invitations, recruitment events. QR opens the RSVP page directly.
Job postlinkedin.com/jobs/view/{job_id}Physical job ads in windows, campus career fairs, printed referral cards. Opens the apply flow.
Specific post or articlelinkedin.com/posts/{activity_id} • linkedin.com/pulse/{slug}Pointing print collateral at one viral post or long-form article rather than the author's whole profile.

Tip — Always include the full https://www.linkedin.com/ prefix when pasting URLs — LinkedIn is strict about canonical redirects and will sometimes bounce shorter forms.

What people actually do with a LinkedIn QR

LinkedIn-specific scenarios from the teams and creators using this tool.

Event and conference badges

Speakers and attendees print a LinkedIn QR on their badge so new contacts can connect without typing a name during a busy lobby conversation.

Slide deck sign-off

Sales and BD teams close webinars and pitch decks with a QR that links to the presenter's profile or to a company Showcase page.

Company hiring flyers

Recruiters print a QR linking to a /jobs page or a specific job post for career fair handouts and office notice boards.

Newsletter cross-promotion

Newsletter authors drop a LinkedIn QR in podcast show notes, YouTube end screens, or onboarding emails so readers can subscribe to the LinkedIn edition.

LinkedIn QR codes — FAQ

LinkedIn already has a QR code feature — why use this?+

The built-in feature is a good networking tool for mobile-to-mobile connections. It is not a branding or print tool. It only covers personal profiles (no company, showcase, newsletter or event pages), scans only work with the LinkedIn app's own camera, and the exported image is a low-resolution black-and-white PNG. For badges, decks, signage and anything you print at real size, a URL QR is what you need.

Can I make a QR for a company page, not just my profile?+

Yes. Paste the full URL of the company page, showcase page, newsletter or event into the URL field. The format is usually https://www.linkedin.com/company/your-company/ or https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/your-showcase/. Any valid LinkedIn URL works.

What is the correct format for a LinkedIn profile URL?+

Personal profiles use https://www.linkedin.com/in/your-vanity-id/. You can find your vanity URL in Settings → Edit public profile & URL. If you paste just the vanity ID without the rest of the URL, this generator will build the full URL for you.

Does scanning open the LinkedIn app or the website?+

On iOS and Android, a linkedin.com URL deep-links into the LinkedIn mobile app if the user has it installed, and falls back to the web profile otherwise. On desktop, it opens the web version.

Can I use my company brand colors?+

Yes. Use the color picker to set dot and background colors. The default theme uses LinkedIn's blue, but the most common customization for company use is the dot color matching the brand's primary and the background staying white so the code prints cleanly.

Can I use this for printed event badges in bulk?+

Yes — each QR is static, so you can generate it once and print it on as many badges as you want. For variable-per-attendee QRs (a different URL for each person), generate one at a time or wire the SVG output into your badge template.
