TikTok has its own QR feature — when should you use this instead?
TikCode is TikTok's in-app QR system, and it is great for creator-to-creator scans. What it does not do well is physical print: TikCodes are unbranded, cannot be recolored, and require the TikTok app to scan. A regular QR pointing at your profile URL solves all of that.

What is the difference between this and a TikCode?+
TikCode is an in-app scanner built into TikTok — you have to be inside the app to scan or share one, and the visual style is fixed. A regular QR code encodes the URL directly, so any phone camera can scan it and jump to your TikTok profile, and you can fully customize the colors and center logo. For print use, a URL QR is almost always what you actually want.
What URL should I encode for my TikTok QR?+
Use https://www.tiktok.com/@yourhandle for your profile. If you want the QR to open a specific video, copy the full video URL from TikTok's share sheet and paste it into the URL field above.
Does the QR open inside the TikTok app?+
On iOS and Android, scanning a tiktok.com URL deep-links into the TikTok app if the user has it installed. Otherwise it falls back to the mobile web experience, which still lets them watch the video or view the profile.
Can I add my own logo instead of the TikTok mark?+
Yes — the TikTok glyph is the default center logo, but you can swap it for your own brand mark via the "Use my own logo" toggle. Keep it roughly square and under ~25% of the QR area so the code remains reliably scannable.
Will black-and-white QR codes scan better than colored ones?+
Not meaningfully — modern phone cameras scan colored QR codes reliably as long as the contrast between the dots and the background stays strong. Avoid light-on-light or similar-hue combinations. This generator warns you if a color pairing is likely to cause scan failures.
Is there a limit to how many codes I can generate?+
