Scheduling a Post
- Create your post as usual in the editor (left side)
- In the publishing panel on the right, toggle the switch from Publish to Schedule
- A date and time picker will appear — select when you want the post to go live
- Your timezone is shown below the toggle for reference
- Click Schedule Post
Managing Scheduled Posts
Go to Posts > Scheduled to see all your upcoming posts.
From here you can:
- Edit: Modify the content before it posts
- Reschedule: Change the date/time
- Post Now: Publish immediately
- Cancel: Remove from the queue
Timezone Handling
SocialCal shows times in your local timezone (displayed below the Publish/Schedule toggle). When you schedule a post for 9:00 AM, it will post at 9:00 AM in your timezone, regardless of where our servers are located.
Best Times to Post
While it varies by audience, general guidelines:
- Facebook: 1-4 PM on weekdays
- Instagram: 11 AM - 1 PM and 7-9 PM
- Twitter/X: 8-10 AM and 6-9 PM
- LinkedIn: Tuesday-Thursday, 7-8 AM
- TikTok: 7-9 PM
Unlimited Scheduling
All SocialCal plans (Starter, Professional, and Enterprise) include unlimited scheduled posts. Schedule as many posts as you need without any limits.
