Hashtag Groups
Save reusable sets of hashtags and insert them into a caption or first comment in one click
What Hashtag Groups Do
Hashtag groups let you save a set of hashtags once and reuse it on any post — instead of retyping the same tags every time. Drop a saved group into your caption (or a platform's first comment) with one click. Available on all plans.
Where to Find It
Open Create New Post and look in the toolbar next to AI Suggest for the # Hashtags button. Click it to open your hashtag groups.
Create a Group
- Click # Hashtags, then New.
- Give the group a name (for example, Launch day).
- Type or paste your hashtags — space or comma separated. The leading # is optional, and duplicates are removed automatically.
- Click Save.
Two shortcuts make this faster:
- From caption — if the post you're writing already contains hashtags, this pulls them straight into a new group.
- AI — suggests 3 relevant hashtags. It uses your post caption if you've written one, otherwise the group name. Review and edit them before saving.
Insert a Group Into a Post
Open # Hashtags and pick a group:
- Caption adds the hashtags to the end of the post you're writing.
- First comment adds them to the platform's first comment instead — handy on Instagram, where many creators keep hashtags out of the caption. First comment is available on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Threads.
Each group shows its tag count and how many characters it adds. If a group would push a selected platform over its limit (for example, X's 280-character cap), the group shows an "Over [platform] by N" warning so you can choose a smaller set.
Per-Platform Captions
If you're on a specific platform's tab in the composer, the group inserts into that platform's caption only. On the All Platforms tab it adds to the shared caption that every platform uses.
Edit or Delete
In the groups list, use the pencil to rename a group or change its tags, and the trash icon to remove it.
Client Profiles
If you use Client Profiles, a group can be scoped to the active client so each client keeps its own sets. Groups with no client are available everywhere.
